Farah Ali is Co-Founder & CTO of FreightWeb, Co-Founder & Board Chair at Pakistani Women in Computing, Co-Founder & President One Good Act. Her focus throughout her career has been in deep technical roles starting with an engineering role at Microsoft as a new college grad. After moving onto senior engineering leadership roles at Microsoft, eBay and Electronic Arts she decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship. She is also an angel investor and passionate about championing causes close to her heart.
Farah Ali is currently Co-Founder & CTO of FreightWeb a VC backed startup focused on innovation in hardware and software solutions that drive profitability and efficiency for transportation companies. Prior to founding FreightWeb, she was Vice President of Engineering for the Player and Developer Experience (PDE) group at Electronic Arts reporting to the CTO. She has also held leadership roles at Microsoft and eBay. She has a passion for technology, for making an impact on the world and for building innovative products that solve compelling problems. Her engineering experience is diverse; she has worked on everything from shrink-wrap products to online services, large scale distributed systems, and machine learning. She is a seasoned technology leader who has experience building and leading cross-functional teams. She is super passionate about diversity in the workplace and is a champion for inclusive practices. In her spare time, she loves reading, traveling, playing games with her 2 daughters, and working on her passion projects as a founder of One Good Act and Pakistani Women in Computing.
